Our Story

In late 2025, TradeEsis began as a small, personal tool named 'Genesis' (meaning New Beginning). At the time, our creator, Khari, was just a second-year university student trying to find an edge in the markets.

The spark ignited when Khari noticed a trend: billionaires consistently leveraged natural and cosmic cycles for an astronomical edge. After seeing a post about 'Mercury Retrograde' from Julian Petroulas - a respected trader and investor whom Khari deeply looks up to as an inspiration - the idea fully clicked. There were zero tools in the market bridging standard hard-data analytics with cosmic cycles.

So, Khari built a custom tracker. The personal results were staggering: an 83% win-rate with a 6.25 Profit Factor during Full Moon cycles, compared to a win-rate of less than 20% during New Moon cycles. It was a massive, hidden side of trading performance that nobody was talking about.

Rock Bottom & Pure Obsession

But building what would become TradeEsis was anything but easy. While trying to fund a prop firm challenge, Khari made a deal with a partner for a $100 investment. But she never fulfilled her end of the bargain. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into five months of consistent lies and being strung along. Scammed out of time and capital, Khari was forced to sit on the sidelines, trading on a demo account.

Instead of giving up, Khari used that forced downtime to lock in on building the app. The hardware situation was a nightmare - after his phone's motherboard died and the dealer refused to fix it (the third broken phone in a row, all due to the dealer supplying faulty hardware), the dispute escalated toward a legal battle. The case was left in the hands of lawyers & Khari chose to walk away and protect his focus. Unfazed and temporarily phoneless, he simply borrowed his mom's phone while at home just to keep the project alive. When he eventually returned to university, he was completely cut off from WhatsApp, relying on a friend's phone and Telegram just to keep things running alongside his laptop (which, thank heavens, never broke!).

This pure obsession nearly cost Khari his university finals. Because his phone was dead, he couldn't access the official class groups. A friend accidentally sent him an outdated exam timetable on Telegram. Thinking his first final exam was at 2:30 PM, Khari woke up blissfully unaware, skipped last-minute cramming, and just sat at his desk coding TradeEsis. At 11:00 AM, his friends frantically called him asking where he was - according to the revised timetable, the exam was scheduled to start at 10:00 AM.

Khari had completely missed it. But in a moment where it felt like God and the universe stepped in to rescue him, a massive university strike suddenly broke out across campus that exact same morning. Chaos ensued, the 10:00 AM exams were abruptly cancelled and pushed to the following week, and Khari's academic career was miraculously saved by a riot. He just smiled, hung up the phone, and went right back to coding.

The Sacrifice

Obsession requires sacrifice. Khari was forced to make the hardest choice a young entrepreneur can make: choosing the vision over a social life. The intense focus caused Khari's relationship with his girlfriend to go south. She was young and deserved to enjoy her life, so Khari let her go without clinging or over-explaining himself. He understood a harsh reality: the world doesn't treat men and women the same. If a young man sacrifices his purpose just to impress a partner, he risks losing the relationship, his business, and ultimately himself. Instead of risking his future for short-term fun, Khari chose to lock in and build TradeEsis - knowing that one day, he would find someone equally ambitious, and they would actually have something real to celebrate and go out for.

Family fallouts followed as others couldn't understand the obsession. It was the ultimate rock bottom. But through the darkest periods, there was one person who never wavered, never doubted, and always believed: his Dad. Fueled by his Dad's unwavering support, Khari refused to quit.

For over six solid months, Khari entered a complete, peaceful Zen mode. Driven by pure love and excitement for what he was creating, he routinely lost track of time - often skipping meals entirely because he was so deep in a flow state building what now is TradeEsis.

The Breakthrough

Returning home for a one-month holiday, Khari found ultimate peace in complete isolation from the outside world. He stopped trading entirely. He locked himself in a room and coded for 36 hours straight - two full nights with zero sleep - to breathe life into the core engine of the platform.

To complete the vision, Khari partnered with a brilliant non-trader who was equally obsessed with the Numbers of the World. Deeply inspired by the teachings of Gary the Numbers Guy (GG33), together they built the Elite Numbers suite.

Today, TradeEsis stands as the first and only holistic trading journal of its kind. We didn't build this in a corporate boardroom with millions in venture capital. We built this at 20 years old, off borrowed phones, fueled by necessity, sacrifice, and the belief that traders deserve to see the unseen.
